Diplomatic relations between Spain and China
The 9 March 1973, was signed in Paris on establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and China. Therefore met 40 years since the agreement between the Ambassador of Spain was signed at that time, Peter Curtain, and Chinese Ambassador, Huang Chen.
Both countries are developing their relations in the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership was signed between them in 2005. Since then relations, at all levels, have been strengthening and increasing, creating bonds that have intensified and will continue to do in the coming years.
To celebrate this 40 anniversary, Spanish and Chinese institutions have collaborated to support various initiatives to promote greater mutual understanding. Among the cultural activities that are designed to celebrate in China, China is actively collaborating Management, especially one, of which we are very proud and we hope to inform you soon.
We do not want to end this post without commenting last 1 March 2013 was appointed Spanish Ambassador to the R. P. of China, D. Manuel María Alonso Valencia, replacing the hitherto Ambassador D. Eugene Bregolat. We wish you all the best in his new position.
